Stinger Paintings on Display at New Jersey Network/Public TV-Radio Headquarters in Trenton

John Stinger, well know impressionist originally from Trenton and a Stewartsville, NJ resident for 25 years, was recently invited to show a special selection of his paintings at the New Jersey Network’s Public Television and Radio main office in Trenton, NJ.

His New Jersey landscapes and Delaware River scenes will be exhibited in the main lobby from November 4 through January, 2010, according to Kathy Budd, Special Events Coordinator for NJN.

Stinger, a retired corporate marketing executive and book author, has been an artist all his life. He sold his first illustration to a consumer magazine at the age of 15 shortly after winning a national poster competition where he was presented the first-place award by former “Tonight Show” host Steve Allen, at the War Memorial Building in Trenton.

Stinger’s work was featured at an August/September solo show held at the Viking Art Center in Bryn Mawr, PA. He also has solo shows scheduled in Reading, PA at the Muhlenberg Art Gallery in November, and Stover Mill Art Gallery, Bucks County, PA, in October 2010.
